Aspire People are currently recruiting for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Peterborough and the surrounding areas.We are looking for individuals who can provide positive, consistent and nurturing support to children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs. The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs.- Support children with autism, ADHD and other special educational needs.- Assist teachers with delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.- Help pupils develop confidence, communication and independence.- Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.- Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs.- Encourage inclusion and participation within the classroom.- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.- Create a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.
