The Role: As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:- Provide individual support to pupils with additional learning needs.- Build trusting and positive relationships with the children you support.- Adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning requirements.- Support communication, social interaction and emotional development.- Encourage confidence, independence and participation in school life.- Implement individual support strategies and learning plans.- Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs.- Monitor and communicate pupil progress.- Help create a safe, structured and encouraging learning environment.
