Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Cheltenham Major Highways Project An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Senior Quantity Surveyors to join a leading infrastructure contractor on a major highways development in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a significant infrastructure project involving road widening, a new link road, earthworks and associated structures. You''ll play a key role in the commercial management of the scheme, working alongside senior commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Managing main contract administration, with a strong focus on change management and compensation event quotations. Preparing, submitting and agreeing monthly applications for payment. Managing subcontract procurement, negotiations, valuations and change control. Producing and issuing contractual notices in line with NEC requirements. Monitoring project costs, expenditure and forecasts. Preparing monthly commercial reports and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs). Maintaining accurate commercial records and ensuring contractual compliance. Working closely with site management, engineering teams and key stakeholders to maximise commercial performance. Supporting a safe working environment and ensuring company procedures are followed.
