Bell Cornwall Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join an established intellectual property firm in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operational leader to oversee multiple teams, drive process improvements and support the firm''s continued growth.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop Patent Paralegal, Trade Mark Paralegal and Business Support teams, comprising approx. 40 people
• Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation and team performance.
• Monitor workloads, productivity and capacity to support operational decisions.
• Manage performance reviews, employee relations and staff development.
• Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to support business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Significant experience in a senior operational leadership or management role.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of workforce planning, performance management and employee relations.
• Experience using management information to improve workflows and resource utilisation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of IP administration, Inprotech and iManage would be advantageous.
