Are you a Health and Safety professional with construction experience who enjoys working closely with site teams and making practical improvements? ProGroup Recruitment is supporting an established passive fire protection contractor in appointing a SHE Advisor. This is an opportunity to play an active role in strengthening safety, health and environmental standards across the business, supporting operational teams with advice, training and hands-on guidance. Working closely with Contracts Managers, Supervisors and the wider operational team, you will help embed a positive safety culture, improve processes and ensure high standards are consistently maintained. The role: Provide practical health and safety advice, coaching and mentoring to operational teams. Carry out site audits and office inspections, ensuring actions are followed through to completion. Review and improve health and safety procedures and site documentation. Advise on CDM requirements and support compliance across projects. Investigate accidents and incidents, producing reports with root cause analysis and recommendations. Develop and deliver toolbox talks and internal health and safety training. Identify training and qualification needs within operational teams. Lead initiatives to improve safety awareness, near-miss reporting and other SHE performance measures.
