Corporate Partnerships Coordinator at Action Tutoring. This is a full-time fixed-term contract for 12 months with flexible hours (core hours 9:30–16:00; total 37.5 hours per week). Location is flexible/hybrid and while you can be based anywhere in England, travel to the London office is essential. Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses. They will help maximise corporate and other organisations for funding, volunteer recruitment, and other philanthropic opportunities to enable growth and sustainability for Action Tutoring. This includes securing and nurturing partnerships to provide financial support for programmes and engaging businesses to generate volunteers for online and face-to-face tutoring.Duties and responsibilities

Identify and persuade small to medium-sized businesses to fund specific schools in Action Tutoring regions as part of a local champions pilot.Drive new applications from potential corporate volunteer tutors, ensuring a strong supply of high-quality applications to meet regional growth targets for both face-to-face and online delivery.Generate regular reports and communicate updates to volunteer partners to demonstrate value and impact of their support.Support programme staff to develop local partnerships through businesses and public sector links.Maintain accurate records of recruitment channels and relationships; use data to analyse recruitment channel effectiveness and inform future work.Any other ad hoc responsibilities as deemed relevant by the CEO.Person specification / Qualifications

The right to work in the UK.Excellent relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to communicate with and manage a range of stakeholders.Ability to manage a varied workload, work on own initiative, and be highly organised with excellent time management.Enjoy using data and creativity to inform approaches to work and partnerships.Resilience when challenges arise; strong verbal and written communication, adaptable to different audiences.Confident public speaker; able to present well both in-person and online, with persistence and persuasiveness when required.Collaborative working style with internal teams and external partners.Open to new ideas and learning; willing to grow with the organisation and Philanthropy team.High computer literacy; familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (desirable).Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion; committed to Action Tutoring’s mission and safeguarding of children.Preferred / advantageous

Experience in managing or building partnerships with corporations or other institutions (e.g., Civil Service, universities, schools).Experience in corporate fundraising or sales; experience using databases.Interest in education and/or the third sector.Benefits
