Electrical Project Manager, Somerset
Taunton and Chard area - -50,000 to -70,000 plus bonus - company vehicle or allowance

Do you like pricing a job and then running it yourself through to handover? Would you like to own commercial and industrial electrical projects from first enquiry to completion, with generators and switchgear in the mix?

You would join an established commercial and industrial electrical contractor in Somerset. You would estimate and tender jobs yourself, from drawings and take-offs to the final quote, then deliver them: programme, budget, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, through to testing, commissioning and handover. The work is split between the office and site.

You''ll need

• Proven experience managing commercial and industrial electrical projects from estimate to completion
• Electrical estimating and tendering experience, and the ability to price jobs on your own
• Knowledge of LV distribution, Form 4 switchgear, diesel standby generators and ATS changeover systems
• A recognised electrical engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience
• A full UK driving licence

HV experience (distribution, transformers, protection and commissioning) is a strong advantage. NEC or JCT experience is useful.
