Your new role As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by managing the full tender process from opportunity identification through to successful submission and handover. You will be responsible for managing multiple bids simultaneously, coordinating internal stakeholders, developing compelling submissions, and ensuring all commercial and technical information is accurately captured. Lead the full bid lifecycle, including opportunity review, tender planning, submission management, and post-tender debriefs. Review tender documentation, identify risks, and develop compliant and competitive bid strategies. Create, structure, and quality-assure bid responses to ensure clear, persuasive, and accurate submissions. Coordinate bid programmes and manage deadlines across internal teams. Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, subcontractors, and overheads.
