About the Role
We''re seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of retrofit projects involving rendering, re-roofing, and associated energy efficiency works. You''ll be responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of works across occupied properties, with a strong focus on resident engagement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities of as Site Manager:
- Champion health and safety on-site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and responsibly for installers, residents, and the public.
- Collaborate with the Operational Support Team to ensure works meet agreed specifications and compliance standards, delivering projects on schedule.
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, keeping them informed and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour adhere to company policies, health & safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings to ensure clear communication and safe working practices.
- Maintain accurate site records and regularly update the Operational Support Team on progress.
- Oversee snagging and ensure all works are completed to a high standard, defect-free and in line with industry and manufacturer specifications.
Candidate Profile of a Suitable Site Manager
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within retrofit or refurbishment projects
- Comfortable working in occupied homes with a resident-focused approach
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, reliable, and flexible in approach
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset
- Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred)
- Competent with IT systems including MS Office and tablet-based QA software (preferred)
