National Account Manager

Salary: -50,00060,000 + bonus, pension

Working closely with internal teams, you''ll develop compelling customer proposals, build profitable account plans and unlock new opportunities across relevant retail channels.

The role

• Manage and grow relationships with national retail customers.
• Develop account plans that drive sales and improve profitability.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations across pricing, promotions and trading terms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver coordinated customer activity and high service standards.
• Track account performance, produce accurate forecasts and capitalise on market opportunities.

About you

To succeed as a National Account Manager, you''ll bring:

• National account management experience within consumer products, with exposure to discounter, grocery or other relevant retail channels.
• A proven ability to develop accounts and deliver strong commercial results.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Confidence analysing sales performance, forecasts and margins.
• A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
