Chase Taylor are working on behalf of an established business within the manufacturing and home improvement sector who are looking to recruit a General Manager with a strong focus on production.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a background in manufacturing or production who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of operations, lead the production team and drive efficiency across the business.

The Role:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of production and operational activities.
• Lead, manage and motivate the production team.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules and workloads.
• Ensure production targets, deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Manage resources and ensure production runs efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
• Take ownership of operational improvements and help drive the business forward.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Production Manager or Operations Manager.
• Strong manufacturing or production background.
• Experience managing and motivating a production workforce.
• Good understanding of production planning, processes and efficiency.
• Commercially aware with the ability to manage costs and resources.
• A hands-on approach with strong organisational and leadership skills.
