Chase Taylor are working on behalf of an established business within the manufacturing and home improvement sector who are looking to recruit a General Manager with a strong focus on production. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a background in manufacturing or production who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of operations, lead the production team and drive efficiency across the business. The Role: Oversee the day-to-day running of production and operational activities. Lead, manage and motivate the production team. Plan and coordinate production schedules and workloads. Ensure production targets, deadlines and quality standards are achieved. Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity. Manage resources and ensure production runs efficiently. Maintain high standards of health and safety. Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth business operations. Take ownership of operational improvements and help drive the business forward. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as a General Manager, Production Manager or Operations Manager. Strong manufacturing or production background. Experience managing and motivating a production workforce. Good understanding of production planning, processes and efficiency.
