We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join an established property maintenance contractor on a long-term mould treatment contract covering Essex.

As the work will be spread across both North and South Essex, the ideal candidate would be based around Chelmsford, Brentwood, Billericay, Wickham, Basildon or surrounding areas, allowing reasonable travel distances to different jobs depending on where they're required each day.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, experienced painter looking for consistent, ongoing work, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful trial period.

The work will primarily involve mould treatment and redecoration within residential properties, including:

• Washing and treating mould-affected walls and ceilings

• Preparing surfaces ready for redecoration

• Applying emulsion to treated areas to restore surfaces to their original condition

• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

• Travelling between properties across Essex as required

• Extensive professional painting and decorating experience is essential

• Previous experience with mould treatment, mould washing or property maintenance would be advantageous

• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating desirable but not essential

• Own vehicle and ability to travel between jobs across Essex initially

• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship

• Reliable, professional and able to work independently

• £160 per day (8-hour shifts)
