An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Machine Operator to join a successful and growing manufacturing company based in Corby. With over 35 years of industry experience, our client has established a strong reputation for quality and innovation and is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join their production team.

This is a hands-on role offering full training, a supportive working environment, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established employer.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Operating a variety of production machinery
• Conducting visual and dimensional quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Loading, feeding and moving materials safely throughout the production process
• Carrying out routine machine lubrication and basic maintenance tasks
• Using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to transport finished products into the warehouse
• Following production schedules and maintenance procedures
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and productivity at all times

To be successful in this role, you should ideally have:

• Previous experience within manufacturing, production, machine operation, powder coating, or a similar industrial environment
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• The ability to work to production targets and follow instructions accurately
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Counterbalance FLT experience or licence (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience of chemical paint stripping processes within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial

Full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
