Location: Enfield, North London Start Date: February 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Pay: 90- 130 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-managed specialist SEND school in Enfield to recruit a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with SEMH and complex behavioural needs from January 2026.This full-time, long-term position is ideal for an experienced practitioner who can provide structure, consistency, and positive behaviour support within a nurturing and supportive school environment.The Role:Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support for pupils with SEMH needsSupport pupils in managing behaviour, emotions, and social interactionsImplement behaviour strategies, risk assessments, and personalised support plansUse Team Teach techniques to safely de-escalate challenging behaviourPromote positive engagement with learning and daily routinesWork collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teamsAct as a positive role model, offering clear boundaries, consistency, and encouragementThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needsTeam Teach training and practical experience (essential)A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour supportStrong behaviour management and communication skillsThe ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupilsAn Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)Why Work with Tradewi
