Behaviour MentorLocation: Merton, South West London School Type: Mainstream Secondary School Contract: Full-time / Term-time only Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are seeking a calm, resilient, and committed Behaviour Mentor to join our supportive secondary school in the London Borough of Merton.This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about helping young people overcome behavioural, emotional, and social barriers to learning.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide targeted one-to-one and small group behaviour support to studentsSupport students with SEMH needs and those at risk of disengagementWork closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to promote positive behaviour strategiesSupport students in lessons, inclusion units, and during unstructured timesAct as a positive role model, building strong and trusting relationshipsHelp students develop self-regulation, resilience, and social skillsThe Ideal Candidate WillHave experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)Be calm under pressure, patient, and consistentHave strong communication and behaviour management skillsBe committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeingBe confident supporting students both in and out of the classroomWe OfferA welcoming and inclusive secondary school communitySupportive leadership and pastoral teamsOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesThe opportunity to mak
