Fabrication / Welder Location: BirminghamSalary: CompetitiveHours: Monday to Thursday 14 00 and 11 00 on a Friday.McGeoch Technology Ltd. is a well-established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham and due to their current projected growth, we are now looking to recruit for the position of Fabrication / Welder.The successful applicant will be based at our client''s production facility in Birmingham city centre.The RoleReporting to the Production Manager as part of the Fabrication / Welder team, your responsibilities will be preparation and welding of mild steel, Aluminium, Stainless steel, thicknesses of material will range from 1mm - 10mm.Your duties will include but not be limited to the following; Fabrication of Mild steel, Stainless-steel and Aluminium components as required ensuring that the highest standards in finish and tolerances, in accordance with information supplied, are achieved using sound trade methods.Must hold the following accreditations, BS EN ISO 15614 -1 and BS EN ISO 15614. - 2 and approved to weld Butt, Fillet and plug.Weld components and framework using a TIG welding process.Position align and fit parts according to specifications.Grind, sand, polish and detail fabrications to required finish using hand and power tools to a high standard.Measure and examine completed work to verify conformance to specifications.All Fabrications tasks are to be completed in the agreed (quoted) time frames or better.Operation of manual machine tools, ..... full job details .....
