Senior EstimatorLocation: LondonSalary: Up to 100k + packageI''m currently working with a leading specialist contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team.The successful candidate will play a key role in securing major rail, infrastructure and civil engineering projects, bringing strong estimating experience and an understanding of the rail sector.Key Responsibilities:Lead estimating and tendering activities for major rail and civil engineering projects.Develop competitive bid strategies to secure profitable work.Manage tender programmes from initial enquiry through to submission.Coordinate internal bid teams and liaise with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.Prepare tender settlements and lead approval processes.Identify value engineering opportunities through design and construction methodology reviews.Manage project risk registers and commercial assessments.Lead tender presentations and support business development activities.Support project handovers and mentor junior members of the estimating team.Requirements:Strong estimating experience within rail, infrastructure or civil engineering.Previous experience pricing complex rail or infrastructure projects.Good understanding of rail construction methods and delivery environments.Experience managing tenders and coordinating bid teams.Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding.Proficiency with Candy or similar estimating software.Degree ..... full job details .....
