An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced freelance Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a new build school project in Leicester. This role offers excellent flexibility, requiring 2 to 3 days of work per week, making it ideal for a professional managing multiple projects or looking for part-time consistency. Key Responsibilities: Establish accurate site control, setting out for groundworks, drainage, RC structures, and steel frames. Conduct precise QA checks, as-built surveys, and maintain comprehensive records. Collaborate closely with the project management team and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered to specification. Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site quickly. Requirements: Equipment: Must supply and operate your own Robotic Total Station (EDM). Experience: Proven track record as a Site Engineer on major building projects, ideally within the education sector or new build commercial frames. Qualifications: HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering, CSCS card (White/Black preferred), and up-to-date insurance.
