Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Site-Manager-on behalf of an established main construction-contractor in North Yorkshire.

Applicants will need to show a track record of excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage construction projects, including direct labour and sub-contractor resource and the ability to deliver quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales in a safe environment.

This company works as principal contractor on projects including: Healthcare, Extra Care, Commercial,-Industrial etc.-

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage-site-team and supply chain to deliver projects to-quality targets and deadlines.
• Produce construction phase plans and programming works.
• Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams.
• Progress reports and meetings with-senior-management and clients.
• Ordering materials for-site-and managing supply chain.
• Daily-site-diaries & briefings.

Experience required:

Must have:

• Ability to manage project costs and on the ground delivery at all stages.
• Experience managing construction projects over -5m.
• Experience of healthcare and extra care construciton projects.-
• Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential.
• Degree-or HNC/HND qualified is beneficial.

Remuneration:

A salary ranging from -55,000 to -65,000 (dependant upon experience) plus package.
