Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Site Manager on behalf of an established main construction contractor in North Yorkshire. Applicants will need to show a track record of excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage construction projects, including direct labour and sub-contractor resource and the ability to deliver quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales in a safe environment. This company works as principal contractor on projects including: Healthcare, Extra Care, Commercial, Industrial etc. Duties/Responsibilities: Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines. Produce construction phase plans and programming works. Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams. Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients. Ordering materials for site and managing supply chain. Daily site diaries and briefings. Experience required: Must have: Ability to manage project costs and on the ground delivery at all stages. Experience managing construction projects over 5m. Experience of healthcare and extra care construciton projects. Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential. Degree or HNC/HND qualified is beneficial. Remuneration: A salary ranging from 55,000 to 65,000 (dependant upon experience) plus package.
