Customer Sales Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Customer Sales Advisor to join a busy sales team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in telephone-based sales and customer service who enjoys building relationships, processing orders and delivering exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle telephone and email sales enquiries professionally.
• Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve issues or escalate where appropriate.
• Monitor repair jobs and provide customers with regular updates.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales administration.
• Arrange collections for returned goods.
• Monitor back orders and urgent requirements, liaising with production where necessary.
• Prepare export documentation and customer invoices where required.
• Support Sales Managers with quotations, pricing and order updates.
• Promote company products, services and sales initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service or telephone sales environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using CRM or catalogue software is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities.
