A welcoming specialist school in Thatcham is seeking a committed Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to help pupils with a range of learning, developmental, and physical needs access education, develop independence, and reach their full potential.

As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalised support to pupils throughout the school day, working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You may support children with autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities, communication difficulties, and other complex needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning, communication, and daily classroom activities
• Encouraging independence and helping children develop practical life skills
• Providing patient, individualised support in line with pupils'' needs
• Helping maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
• Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to support pupil development
