Children''s Registered Manager The Role As a Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the effective management of a children''s residential home, ensuring children and young people receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care. Depending on the specific vacancy, responsibilities will include: Managing the day-to-day operation of a children''s residential home. Ensuring the home provides a safe, stable and nurturing environment. Leading, motivating and developing a team of residential childcare professionals. Ensuring children''s individual needs, care plans and risk assessments are effectively implemented. Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people. Maintaining strong safeguarding practices and ensuring the welfare of children remains the priority. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company policies. Preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections and regulatory requirements. Maintaining high standards of care, recording, reporting and documentation. Working effectively with social workers, local authorities, families and other professionals. Managing recruitment, supervision, training and performance within the home. Monitoring budgets, resources and operational performance where required. Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across the service.
