Your new companyHays Accountancy and Finance is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and successful organisation based in Teesside to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.This is an excellent opportunity to join a sizeable finance function at an exciting time for the business, taking ownership of the accounts payable operation and playing a key role in ensuring an efficient and effective purchase-to-pay process.The role is based at the organisation''s Teesside Head Office, with hybrid working available.Your new roleReporting to the Head of Transactional Finance, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and control of the Group''s Accounts Payable function, overseeing both core AP processes and the team''s interaction with the wider procurement system.You will lead and support the Accounts Payable team, ensuring processes are accurate, efficient and completed within agreed timescales.Key responsibilities will include:Managing the Accounts Payable function from invoice input through to paymentLeading, supervising and motivating the Accounts Payable teamMonitoring AP controls, processes and reportingReviewing and checking payment runsMonthly review of GRNICompleting month-end duties, including intercompany reconciliationsReviewing unmatched cash paymentsMonitoring and reporting on Accounts Payable and Procurement KPIsReviewing delegation of authorityWorking closely with Procurement and other departments to improve the purchase-to-pay ..... full job details .....
