We are hiring a mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative for a well-established contractor. They have recently secured a major four-year framework covering railway stations across Essex and East London. What you ll be doing: Carrying out reactive building repairs and property upkeep across station sites. Carpentry, lock replacements, minor glazing, and basic roofing repairs. Basic plumbing, plaster patching, tiling, and touch-up painting. Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and routine drainage tasks. Joining an on-call rota for emergency out-of-hours callouts. What you ll need: Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative or multi-trade handyman. Strong skills in carpentry and general building maintenance. Valid UK Driving Licence (essential). PTS card / CSCS card preferred. Candidates from commercial or FM maintenance backgrounds looking to break into rail as a Multi-Skilled Operative are welcome to apply.
