Viridian Solar is a leading UK manufacturer of roof-integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, providing innovative and aesthetically integrated renewable energy solutions. The Head of Distribution will drive sales growth of Viridian Solar''s integrated PV product range across key markets in the UK and Northern Europe. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with distribution partners, housebuilders, roofing companies, and installers, and maintaining Viridian Solar''s leading position in the integrated solar market. This includes key customers in Scandinavia and the Benelux regions. Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the UK and Northern Europe markets, focusing on distributors and installers.Deliver against sales targets and growth objectives, expanding market share for integrated PV solutions.Manage and develop relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and repeat business.Provide technical and commercial support to partners, including training and product knowledge sessions.Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies tailored to UK and EU market conditions.Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing feedback to inform product development and marketing initiatives.Represent Viridian Solar at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Technical Support, and Product Development, to align sales strategies with company objectives.Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure product availability and delivery commitments are met.
What We''re Looking For
Proven track record in B2B sales within the renewable energy, solar PV, or construction products sector.Strong knowledge of UK and EU solar PV markets, particularly building-integrated PV solutions.Experience managing sales pipelines and delivering against revenue targets.Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.Ability to communicate technical product features in a commercial context.Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK and EU.Languages: Fluency in English required; proficiency in a primary European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Dutch) highly desirable.Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Engineering, Construction, or Renewable Energy preferred but not essential.Demonstrable sales training or qualifications are advantageous.Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.Strong commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset.Resilient and adaptable in a fast-growing market.
