We are currently looking for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Islington for the full academic year.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Year 6 class teacher, supporting pupils with their learning and helping them stay focused and engaged throughout the school day.

You will:

• Support pupils with their day-to-day learning
• Work with children on a one-to-one and small group basis
• Help with literacy, maths and SATs preparation
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Encourage positive behaviour and good classroom routines
• Help pupils build confidence and independence
• Assist the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher
