You''ll operate fabrication machinery and produce high precision sheet metal components and subassemblies, working from engineering drawings and to a defined schedule.Duties include:Setting up and operating fabrication machines including guillotines, bandsaws and pressesProducing and assembling detailed parts for assemblies/welded assembliesLaying out, measuring and marking materials from drawings/templates using hand tools and calculatorsUsing engineering measuring equipment to confirm dimensions meet drawing requirementsReading and following engineering drawings/lofts, procedures and work instructionsAttending and participating in daily stand-up meetingsWorking to all health and safety, quality and regulatory requirementsSupporting workplace organisation/continuous improvementMaintaining a tidy, safe working environmentCompleting other duties within your capabilities as requiredEssential experience:Experience operating fabrication machinery (e.g. guillotine/bandsaw/press)Able to work in a team to deliver parts on timeStrong attention to detail, reliability and a quality-focused approach These are permanent jobs.
