Head of Community SafetyNorth London Hybrid Working - 2 Days Office-Based Per Week Rate: £550 per day IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Initial Contract Length: 6 months Working Hours: 36 Hours per WeekRole SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership across a comprehensive Community Safety and Enforcement service, helping to deliver safer neighbourhoods, stronger communities and improved quality of life for residents, businesses and visitors.Reporting to the Assistant Director of Environment, you will oversee a broad portfolio covering Community Safety, Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), Noise Nuisance, CCTV, Domestic Abuse, Prevent, Hate Crime, Offender Management and Serious Violence.You will lead a service of over 50 staff, manage significant budgets and work closely with senior council leaders, elected members, the Metropolitan Police and external partners to develop and deliver effective community safety strategies.What You Will Do as a Head of Community Safety Provide strategic and operational leadership across Community Safety, ASB, Noise Nuisance, CCTV, Domestic Abuse, Prevent, Hate Crime, Offender Management and Serious Violence services.
