Are you passionate about sparking curiosity and a love for Science in young minds£ We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school community in High Wycombe, starting in September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Unqualified Teacher (UQ) who is eager to gain valuable classroom experience and grow within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
About the Role:
Youandrsquo;ll be joining a dynamic Science department where collaboration, creativity, and innovation are encouraged. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience and subject specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to support learning
- Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular Science opportunities (e.g. STEM clubs, trips, or competitions)
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Participate in staff meetings, training days, and parent evenings
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school-wide improvement initiatives

- A qualified teacher (QTS), ECT, or UQ with a strong academic background in a Science-related subject
- A passion for teaching and inspiring young people
- Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to high academic standards
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- A reflective practitioner who is open to feedback and committed to ongoing professional development
