GMS is a fundamental part of the People Services group and is currently enjoying accelerated growth and numerous exciting opportunities.Roles and ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day global coordination and/or UK service delivery of client engagements (dependent on the client portfolio), supported by a junior engagement team.Build, maintain and lead strong relationships with the clientsBeing the day-to-day contact for allocated clientsManagement of all associated compliance processes for international assigneesEnsuring clients are provided with up-to-date information on relevant tax developmentsAdvising on risk issues relevant to client and assisting in mitigating thesePreparing client advice for manager/partner reviewProject managementDelegation of work to, and training and coaching of junior staffInteraction with KPMG''s global People Services networkAssisting with the day to day running of the GMS team and participating in managerial meetingsMonitoring, recording and managing financial results on allocated clients to ensure profitability of the businessRecognising and developing opportunities to further grow the GMS team.Lead business development/proposalsQualifications and SkillsACA/ATT/CTA qualified or equivalentExperience and BackgroundPrevious experience working in UK expatriate tax servicesEnergetic, committed, and ambitiousIdentifies and pursues business opportunitiesHigh level personal responsibility and accountability for teamworkSeeks out feedback and development opportunitiesGives clear directions, positive and constructive feedback.Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates informationCommunicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clearBuilds the reputation of KPMG through the quality of work, knowledge and experienceMonitors and upholds high quality of service and products to clients (internal and external).Understands how to effectively manage a busy portfolio of GMS clients and deliver sound and technically accurate advice
