Level 3 Play Worker / Level 3 Support Worker B10, Birmingham 9:30am 3:00pm Part-time, half-term holidays only Looking for rewarding work that fits neatly around term time? We re supporting a local playscheme in the B10 area of Birmingham and are looking for a Level 3 qualified Play Worker or Support Worker to support our half-term holiday provision. You ll be working with children aged 5 to 13, with the majority being primary school age, helping to create fun, structured days where children feel safe, included, and excited to take part. What you ll be doing: Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities for children Supporting children in a structured play environment Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive space for all ages and abilities Managing and supporting a small team of four volunteers Encouraging participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour Making sure safeguarding and health and safety standards are always followed What we re looking for: A Level 3 qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or Support Work Experience working with children, particularly primary-aged children Confidence leading activities and supporting volunteers A calm, organised approach with lots of energy and enthusiasm A genuine passion for helping children play, learn, and thrive Why this role works well: Perfect if you re looking for holiday-only work Short, manageable shifts that still make a real difference A chance to lead activities and enjoy your working day Be part of
