The project includes upgrades to a freight/storage site and various other upgrades to the wider rail infrastructure across the region. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a rail background who enjoys working closely with clients and project teams whilst working on complex, high value projects.The Role You''ll provide commercial and quantity surveying support across a major rail infrastructure project, working alongside client and project stakeholders to manage costs, contractual matters and commercial performance.Responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial and quantity surveying activities on a complex rail projectSupporting cost management, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.Preparing and reviewing valuations, applications for payment and change assessments.Managing variations, compensation events and contractual change.Reviewing and assessing contractor applications, quotations and associated commercial submissions.Supporting procurement activities and the assessment of subcontractor costs.Identifying commercial risks and opportunities, providing clear reporting and recommendations.Working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and ..... full job details .....
