We are currently recruiting for Press Brake Setters/Operators and Folders for permanent positions based with our client in Bradford

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Rate of pay is -15.59 per hours for basic hours

This will be working mornings to start with, but an afternoon shift pattern will start after the New Year.

The Role:

The successful candidates will be responsible for setting and operating press brake machinery and folding equipment to manufacture a variety of sheet metal components to the required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC Press Brake machinery and/or folding machines.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Setting machines, selecting appropriate tooling and adjusting programmes where required.
• Folding and forming sheet metal components to accurate measurements and tolerances.
• Working with a variety of sheet metals, including mild steel and other materials.
• Checking finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Using measuring equipment, including tape measures, verniers and angle gauges.
• Carrying out routine machine checks and ensuring equipment is maintained.
• Working to production targets and deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Working alongside other members of the manufacturing team to ensure production runs efficiently.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience working as a Press Brake Setter/Operator or Folder.
• Experience setting and operating CNC Press Brake or folding machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and folding processes.
• Knowledge of different materials, thicknesses and tooling requirements.
• Ability to work accurately and maintain high-quality standards.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
