We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Caerphilly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and personally.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will support pupils in the classroom, encourage confidence and independence, and play an important role in their educational journey.

Pay Rate

• From -93 per day
• Full-time position
• Monday to Friday
• Immediate start available

Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
• Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils'' social and emotional development
• Helping to create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback where appropriate

Primary Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Experience working with children, ideally within a school, nursery, or educational setting
• A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to supporting learning
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Right to work in the UK
