Summary of the Welding Inspector role Salary: £35,000 - £45,000Location: Bedford Type of Contract: 6-month contract Hours: 40 hour working week Responsibilities of the Welding Inspector Process Welding inspection first-off of components in an efficient mannerInspect welding and fabrication activities in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications, standards, and customer requirementsVerify welder qualificationsConduct visual inspectionsSupport internal and external auditsReport on process and system dataCoordinate and assist with preparation of systems documentation necessary to meet with the requirements of statutory and regulatory bodiesLiaise with production personnel to resolve welding and quality issuesContribute with identifying methods to improve the smooth operation of the business Requirements for a successful Welding Inspector CSWIP National Accreditation 3.1PCN Level IIIProven experience within a metal fabrication and assembly environment on aluminium, steel, and stainless steel Current experience of working with international regulatory standard; ISO 9001Current experience working to ISO 5817, and ISO 10042Proficient with MS Office suiteAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and specificationsKnowledge of health and safety and environmental practices and procedures About Allstaff RecruitmentWe re an ..... full job details .....
