Welding Inspector / NDT Technician I''m currently recruiting for a Welding Inspector / NDT Technician to join a leading manufacturing business supporting critical UK defence programmes. This is a hands-on position working within a fabrication and machining environment, undertaking welding inspection, visual examination and NDT activities across complex engineered components. Key Responsibilities Conduct visual weld inspection activities Perform MPI and DPI examinations Review welding documentation including WPSs and WPQRs Support welding quality investigations and NCR activities Produce inspection reports and quality documentation Liaise with production, welding and quality teams Ensure compliance with customer and industry standards What We''re Looking For CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector PCN Level 2 MPI (MT) PCN Level 2 DPI (PT) Experience within fabrication, welding or heavy engineering environments Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding documentation Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection requirements Desirable PCN Level 2 UT Supplier quality or auditing experience Defence, nuclear, marine or heavy engineering sector experience This is an excellent opportunity for a CSWIP-qualified Welding Inspector or NDT Technician looking to join a stable manufacturing business supporting long-term defence programmes.
