Due to an urgent project, they are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor/Manager in Teesside.The successful candidate will initially be based on-site in Teesside for approximately 6 months, with accommodation provided throughout the project. Upon completion, the role will transition into a permanent position supporting projects across the Midlands region, providing long-term career stability and progression.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated health and safety professional looking to join a forward-thinking contractor operating within a high-hazard environment.Key responsibilities will include: Conducting site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.Supporting project teams with risk assessments and safe systems of work.Investigating incidents, near misses and non-conformances.Delivering toolbox talks and health and safety briefings.Providing practical advice and support to site management teams.Monitoring compliance with legislative and company requirements.Developing strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and operational teams.Promoting continuous improvement across health and safety performance.
