Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor - Birmingham Our client are a leading Global Contractor or are currently seeking a proactive and organised individual responsible for ensuring all health and safety standards are met across this leading region. As a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor you will be responsible for developing policies, providing training, conducting risk assessments and investigating incidents. This role provides competent first line advice and support on health and safety matters to site, ensuring effective management of Health and Safety in respect of the companies standards. Key Responsibilities: Developing and Implementing Health and Safety Policies: Support the Head of HSW, to create, manage and monitor comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures that comply with relevant legislation and industry best practices. Training and Education: Providing training to staff and contractors on health and safety procedures, hazards, and emergency protocols. Risk Assessments: Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures. Site Inspections and Audits: Regularly inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and identify areas for improvement. Incident Investigation: Investigating accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
