The provision supports children and young people with special educational needs, the majority of whom are D/deaf or have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) alongside additional needs. The school provides a structured and inclusive environment where communication, independence and wellbeing are at the centre of learning. As an Occupational Therapist, you will manage a caseload of pupils, delivering assessments and targeted interventions to support sensory processing, motor skills and functional independence. You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to implement strategies that support access to learning and daily activities, while contributing to EHCPs and providing guidance to staff and families.
