About the Role:
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Chelmsford that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them to develop the skills required for independence, learning, and everyday life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and support students with physical, sensory, and cognitive needs

• Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

• Provide strategies and recommendations to enhance classroom participation

• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records and reports

• Support the development of EHCP targets and reviews

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy

• HCPC registration

• Experience working with children or in a school setting (preferred but not essential)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
