Description
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering and contract management.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency.
- Manage risks associated with supplier performance and supply chain disruptions.
Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within a relevant industry.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement policies and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
