Technical Sales Manager- Aberdeen The Role To manage technical enquiries through to sales orders applying subject matter knowledge to different business lines portfolios. Responsibilities Manage and update technical documentation/sales literature for key technologies. Interact with client representatives and internal co-ordinators to develop solutions for customers. Develop business cases for technology applications and forecast impact to profitability for business lines. Work collaboratively with workshop and operational teams to deliver required solutions. Communicate with clients to interpret their requirements and prepare technical proposals and quotations ensuring the request for quotation (RFQ) is fully understood and maximized to scope of supply. Prepare Commercial invoices and delivery notes for equipment/sales deliveries to clients. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients. Negotiating contracts and reviewing terms and conditions (alongside legal team). Reviewing cost and sales performance. Recommend new technology development for business lines. Early engagement with customers to identify technology gaps. Budgetary assessment of equipment against potential market. Ensure awareness of emerging technology markets and identify business line entry. Deliver technical presentations to client base and industry forums.
