-Freelance Document Controller

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail focused Freelance Document Controller to support project teams by managing and organizing documentation efficiently. This role is critical in ensuring that all project records are accurate, properly maintained, and readily accessible throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and manage all project-related documents in line with established procedures

• Ensure proper document versioning, numbering, and formatting standards are followed

• Maintain and update document registers, logs, and tracking systems

• Distribute documents to internal teams and external stakeholders in a timely manner

• Review documents for completeness and compliance before submission or filing

• Archive and retrieve documents as required, ensuring ease of access

• Coordinate with project teams to collect and organize required documentation

• Conduct periodic checks to ensure document accuracy and consistency

• Safeguard confidential and sensitive information

Requirements

• Proven experience in document control or a similar administrative role

• Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, EDMS)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects

• Understanding of document control standards and best practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
