The role is responsible for leading activities within the inspection department focused on dimensional inspection.Commutable from: Coventry, Leicester, Birmingham, Rugby, NorthamptonSalary: £ Negotiable + Bonus + Pension + 4 Day Working Week (Mon to Thurs)The RoleThe Senior Quality Inspector will be responsible for day-to-day quality inspection functions including measurement and analysis of precision engineered parts produced to fine tolerances.The Senior Quality Inspector mentor a team of Quality Inspectors and Apprentices. You will ensure that quality assurance policies are compliant with industry standards and regulations such as AS9100.The Senior Quality Inspector will support the review and maintenance of the business Quality Management System (QMS) and will ensure they keep up to date with the latest updates in standards and industry requirements.You will use and oversee the use of various measurement tools including CMM, manual measurement devices and ensure that inspections are conducted both during and after the manufacturing process.
