Mobile HVAC (Heating) Engineer

Salary: -46,000 to -49,000 basic

I''m currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HVAC (Heating) Engineer to join a well established, employee owned engineering business supporting a specialist portfolio of commercial clients across the South of England.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business working within technically demanding environments, including pharmaceutical, life sciences and healthcare facilities. The role will involve servicing, maintaining and fault finding on a wide range of complex heating and HVAC equipment, helping ensure critical building systems remain operational.

The successful candidate will have a strong commercial heating background, excellent fault finding ability and the relevant Commercial Gas ACS qualifications.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault diagnosis across a varied portfolio of commercial sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Servicing, maintaining and fault finding on commercial heating and HVAC plant.

* Working on air handling units, specialist ventilation systems, boilers, LTHW and CHW systems, DHW and plumbing systems, pumps and motors.

* Ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently and in line with relevant regulations.

* Completing service reports, compliance documentation and job records using handheld technology.

* Following risk assessments, method statements and permit to work procedures.

* Building strong working relationships with clients and end users.

* Keeping qualifications and technical knowledge up to date through ongoing training.

* Participating in a 24/7 callout rota, approximately one week in twelve.

* Previous experience as a Commercial Heating Engineer or HVAC Engineer.

* Commercial Gas ACS qualifications are essential.

* A recognised apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification in heating, air conditioning or refrigeration.

* Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and associated systems.

* Experience with Building Management Systems and controls.

* A conscientious approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A full, clean UK driving licence.

* Flexibility to travel across the South of England.

* Ability to work at height and obtain IPAF and PASMA certification where required.

Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences or healthcare environments would be advantageous. Commercial refrigeration experience would also be beneficial.

* -46,000 to -49,000 basic salary.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
