Assistant Accountant Location: Hounslow Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £30,000 to 35k (based on experience) A returning client of ours is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a high-quality, multi-award-winning relocation and storage company in London, recognised for excellence in our field. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to manage both accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient financial operations within our dynamic team. Day-to-Day of the Role: Accounts Payable: Process and input supplier invoices using Dext, Xero, and Approval Max. Handle supplier queries, including requests for statements, invoices, and credit notes. Check staff expenses and prepare them for payment. Conduct monthly supplier reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies and maintaining accurate records. Accounts Receivable: Manage and reconcile various forms of payment receipts including card, SO, Stripe, direct debit, and BACS in Moveware. Handle the setup of new storage customer accounts and contract charges. Raise storage invoices and credit notes as needed. Process and manage customer payments and direct debit mandates. Credit Control: Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and manage credit control processes. Send statements and chase overdue payments via phone, email, and letter. Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly. File court claims for bad debtors and perform credit checks on new commercial customers. Additional ..... full job details .....
