The Opportunity

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join its quality leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to drive quality improvements, support customer requirements, lead quality investigations, and develop a culture of continuous improvement within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians.
• Manage customer quality issues and corrective action activities.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and 8D investigations.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
• Monitor quality performance using SPC, MSA and key metrics.
• Support supplier quality activities and risk reduction programmes.

What We''re Looking For

• Experience in a Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer position within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis, 8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Background in machining, assembly or precision engineering environments.
• Proven ability to lead improvement projects and collaborate across teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Six Sigma qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline, or
• Equivalent experience within a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
