We are seeking a dedicated TA to join our friendly primary school in Greenwich, supporting a pupil with Special Educational Needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behaviour.About the Role:In this rewarding role, you will work one-to-one with a child who requires consistent, structured and nurturing support to thrive in the classroom. You will be part of a supportive staff team committed to creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with SEN, including SEMH and behaviour needsImplement individual support strategies and follow the child''s personalised planHelp maintain a safe, calm and encouraging learning environmentPromote positive behaviour and emotional regulationWork collaboratively with teachers, SENCo and external professionalsBuild trusting relationships with the child to support their academic and personal developmentWe Are Looking For Someone Who:Has experience supporting children with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs (school-based experience desirable)Is calm, empathetic and proactiveCan use their initiative and adapt to changing needsCommunicates effectively with staff, pupils and familiesIs
